-Correct the mistakes
Once we had read an e-mail we had to find its 10 mistakes concerning spelling, punctuation, capitalization, verb tenses and prepositions and correct them.
-Focus on punctuation
By referring to the e-mail we focused on punctuation marks and their function:

· Semi colon ;
· Apostrophe ‘
· Quotation marks/speech marks “ “

· Brackets ()
Unit 1, p. 12-13 “Talking about…interviews”
During this lesson we worked on our listening skills.
The first part of the exercises was related to Ryan Judd’s interview about his experience as a recruitment advisor.

The second part of the exercises gives a look at the language and shows the transition from a formal language to a colloquial one.
(p.13, exercise 2)
The last exercise consisted in listening to five people speaking about their job interviews and relating each one of them to the right sentence about their experience.
