In Washington motorists with criminal intentions that are driving through the city limits of Washington must call the Police Chief before entering the city.

Thanks for your comments, Chiara! OK, what is the reasoning behind the Madagascar hat thing???? Did you find any explanation?
I looked for it but wasn't able to find it. :(
Thanks for trying!
- It is illegal to die in Falciano del Massico. This small town in Campania doesn’t have a cemetery so, in March 2012, its mayor decided to solve the problem by outlawing death. Apparently, two of the town’s older residents had already defied the law before the end of that first year.
- Sitting on a park bench might sound like a harmless activity but do it in a group of three after 11 p.m., and you’re breaking the law, says The Independent. Thankfully, the rule only applies to the city of Novara in the Piedmont region. Lawmakers from Viareggio in Tuscany are also vigilant about their benches; put your feet up there and you could be fined.

I discovered that it is possible to “build” sandcastles but NOT in front of the lifeguard tower. :)
Ah ok, that makes more sense. I guess the lifeguards would feel guilty if they had to run into the sea to save someone....and happened to destroy someone's sandcastle while doing so! That's my interpretation of this law.... :-)
They all have found the strangest laws! Here is what I found:
In Hong Kong, a woman is allowed to kill her cheating husband only with her bare hands.
In Bangladesh, if a child (15 years or older) is caught cheating during an exam, he/she can be sent to jail. (poor children!)
